This is a really stunning vintage 1950's Art Deco Volupte compact purse that functions as a cigarette case, lipstick holder, compact; and comes in the original box.

The case is made of silver tone metal with a decorative clear and blue rhinestone medallion; and slides into a black moiré case with a strap for carrying.

The back of the moiré case has a snap closure compartment to hold credit cards, drivers license, or other small items.

The lid of the compact has a beautiful Art Deco Rhinestone pattern, with no rhinestones missing.

Open the compact to reveal a clear double sided metal mirror that separates the two sides. You could use the compartment behind the mirror to hold cigarettes, paper money, comb, note pad and pen, etc.

The bottom portion of the purse has two covered compact compartments; one for powder with the original puff and sifter net, as well as another compartment for other items.

There is a empty and clean lipstick holder that has it's own compartment.

The piece is in excellent and clean condition. Any unusual marks showing on the lid of the purse are reflections and not damage; as this piece is extremely reflective and hard to photograph. No dents, dings, rust or corrosion on this beautiful purse. Very faint scuffing to the back that is barely noticeable.

The length of this piece is approximately 4 1/2 inches, and height is 3 1/4 inches; and it is approximately 1 1/2 inches in thickness. It comes in the original black Volupte box.
