This is an Art Deco 1930's vintage Whiting & Davis gold mesh formal or evening purse in lovely condition.

It measures approximately 6 inches in height by 7 inches in width at the base of the purse.

The mesh is shiny and in excellent condition, as is the frame, only faint scuffing. The interior is in very good condition with light minor staining that can be viewed in our photos. The clasp works as it should.

The purse is hallmarked on the frame and has the original Whiting & Davis tag sewn in the lining. Lot number 2862.

A great purse for a wedding or any special occasion.
